Before Your SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel Treatment

Before your SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel treatment, you'll receive a consultation with one of our beauty therapists. During the consultation, our therapist will go over the procedure, the benefits of the peel, and what aftercare they suggest to keep the results of the peel long-lasting.
The consultation will also involve highlighting what you'd like out of the peel and if there are any particular skin concerns you have. The beauty therapist can also answer any questions you have about the SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel treatment. As the SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel is available in three different percentages, our therapist will also make sure that you have chosen the right treatment for your skin needs.

During Your SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel Treatment

When you arrive at our Colchester clinic, our therapist will greet you and take you through into a private room for your SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel treatment. Before starting the chemical peel process, our therapist will go over what you discussed at the consultation and ensure your skin aims are still the same. Should you have any questions during the treatment, our therapist will be happy to answer them.
Our private rooms offer a relaxing and cosy environment, perfect for the SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel treatment that could take up to 30 minutes to complete. Your skin may feel warm/tingly during the treatment, this is quite common, and usually, this sensation will subside within a few minutes. Should you have any concerns at all during the peel, please just let our therapist know.

After Your SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel Treatment

After the SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel treatment is complete, your beauty therapist will explain the aftercare tips they can recommend. The majority of the time, we recommend using either sunscreen or moisturiser after the peel. Your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight after the peel, so we recommend adding sun cream to your face to ensure you keep your skin protected against the sun's UV rays.
